For Articulation Officers

C-ID AO Advisory Committee

The purpose of the C-ID Articulation Officer Advisory Committee is to support and assist the work of C-ID. Members will interact with C-ID leadership, Articulation Officer Liaison, staff, technical staff, Advisory Committee members, faculty discipline review group members, and other Articulation Officers from all higher-education segments in California.

The primary duties of the members are to serve as ambassadors for C-ID at the regional level to communicate effectively the goals, objectives, and activities of C-ID, to encourage the participation of faculty and the articulation community in C-ID, and to serve as the “earpiece” for regional issues relative to C-ID. Members will have the opportunity to work with discipline faculty to support the C-ID descriptor and TMCs (as needed) development, implementation, and review process.

Submitting Course Outlines for C-ID Designation

Please view the AO Guide to Submitting Course Outlines for C-ID Designation Document. This document will guide you through the steps of submitting as well as provide relevant policies and course review information. Please note that this document may be updated as technology improvements are made and/or to reflect any policy changes or additions. The most current training for submitting course outlines PowerPoint is now available.

Submitting Course Outlines for Comparability – CSU

When a course is identified by a CSU campus as comparable to a C-ID descriptor, the CSU course indicated will articulate with approved California Community College courses with that C-ID designation. Comparable identification does not imply CSU-to-CSU articulation, nor does it imply reverse articulation of CSU-to-CCC courses. For instructions on how to submit courses, please view the CSU Articulation Officer user guide.

C-ID Appeals Process

The C-ID Appeals Process document explains how to submit a formal appeal if you and/or your faculty would like to appeal a determination given to your course submission. The C-ID appeal process helps us to identify and improve our existing process, and we value the input of the discipline faculty and the articulation officers to make the C-ID system work and function better.

C-ID Newsletters and Updates
